TEXT: Philippians 4:4 , James 1:2-3 Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. James 1:2-3  2  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. MESSAGE There are times that you as a christian will fall into tribulations. Men will persecute you because of your faith in Jesus. You may lose your job because you refused to cooperate with your superiors in cooking records or because you refused to sleep with your boss. The Lord says to rejoice all the same. It is easy to nod in agreement, but when you are actually passing through adversity you will know it is not easy to smile when all hell seem to be let loose on you. But something can help you: Perspective! If you can focus on the right perspectively you will be able to smile at the storm. The reason why Jesus was able to endure the pain of the cross, despising the shame is because he focused on th...

REJOICING IN THE LORD ALWAYS 2

TEXT Phillipins 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice MESSAGE Rejoice always! What a commandment. Yes, it is! Rejoice always.... What about in times of adversity and difficulties? Rejoice all the same. When we do not know where the next meal is coming from? Rejoice all the same. When you are persecuted for your faith in the Lord, don't carry a long face and cry, Why me? Rather, rejoice in the Lord. God's word shows us how! The cenre of your focus, will definitely define the state of your heart and mind. A man is defined by the content of his heart (Prov. 23:7) So what should we occupy our hearts with? God's Word! 2Pet 1:19 tells us that, " We have also a more sure word of prophecy [God's Word]; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts" . Peter says the scripture is more sure than the transfiguration of Jesus that he witnessed (2Pet 1:1...

REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS

Image
TEXT Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. MESSAGE How can we rejoice always? What about the times of pain and adversities? Rejoicing in the Lord is rejoicing in the revelation of the truth of God's Word. When the word of God enters your Spirit, no matter the situation you are facing, you will rejoice because the entrance of God's word will bring faith and rejoicing is a proof or manifeatation of your faith. Jesus says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when  ye pray,  believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24). Prayer makes the truth of God's word real to you. As you pray based on a provision of the scripture, declaring it to yourself and glorifying God for it, your heart will become aware of the truth then you can believe. If you have prayed and you really believe that you've got answers, you don't have to wait to see it manifesting. Your rejoicing is the proof that yo...

RIGHTEOUSNESS: YOUR POWER OVER SICKNESS, AND ALL DEMONIC ATTACKS

TEXT: Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD . MESSAGE Any child of God that dies out of sickness is most likely to have died out of ignorance or doubt of what his righteousness is up to. Like I've always maintained, death and its agents are judgement passed on man by reason of sin. So the forces of the enemy stand on the judgement to afflict man. But when you give your life to Jesus, you have a life that is beyond condemnation. Firstly because Christ has born your judgement and you cannot be judged twice for the same charge. Jesus actually exchanged your life with His. He took over your cursed and condemned life and, he bore the full judgement. Then He gave you His divine and righteous life which has never sinned. Thus when God sees a born again child of God, He sees a just,...

The Mysteries of the Christian Righteousness

TEXT: Romans 3:21-22  21  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  22  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference : MESSAGE It is not difficult to explain to man that all have sinned because everything in and around him indicates that he is far from righteousness. In fact People wonder and even object when Christians claim to be righteous. True, "... by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men.. ." (Romans 5:12). The proof that man is doomed to death is the manifestation of the agents of death over him which include, sickness, barrenness in whatever dimension, moral decadence and eventual physical death But when Jesus came to save man, he did not simply plead with the Father to forgive man he took man's condemnation. and judgement upon himself. So he lietrar...
