TEXT: Hos 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you MESSAGE : Many people complain that they do not get result. They seem to be enstranged from the mercies of God. When you tell them God is a merciful God, deep down in their hearts, they do not agree with you because they have not exprienced God's mercy. All they know of God is judgement. They do their best at things and not get result. They pay tithe and things seem to get tighter. They give offering and they keep suffering. They sow and don't reap. Is there a way out?  Well there is. The reason why you are workin like an elephant and eatin like an ant is becuase you are not reaping in mercy. TEXT: 2TIM 2:21: If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and meet for the master's use and prepared unto every good work. MESSAGE   Have you ever wished to be useful to the Lord. God wishes that many times more than you do. In fact that is one of the reason why you are saved (Titus 2:14). He wants to put you to make you a vessel unto honour. A vessel is honourable not because of the material it is made of, but because of the use to which it is put. God wants to add value to you by putting you to an honourable us. He wants you to be an instrument that stands before kings. However, much as God calls everyone, he is very careful who he commits to His divine honourable use. MESSAGE Whatever your endeavour, desire and aspiration maybe, human efforts alone cannot guarantee success no matter how hard a man tries. THE VOICE OF MERCY FAVOUR AND GRACE TEXT: Heb. 4:16, Ps.5:12, Rom 9:16 Mercy is the prerogative of God exercising His sovereignty. that is to say, Mercy is God breaking protocol and helping man even though he might not have, or should not have done it. No matter what you do in life, where you are or who you are, you can never succeed in any thing without the grace and favour of God. I have seen people with outstanding academic certificates rotting away in the labour market. There are people with enough money but could not buy peace, a home or a child. TEXT: Luke 10:30-37 We have been talking about the voice of God. Yesterday we said that the children of God are given the privilege of speaking the word of God as the Oracle (mouth piece) of God (1Pet 4:11)so that the word of God has the same effect in our mouth as it does in the mouth of Jesus. Nevertheless, we have an obligation to fulfil if we wish to manifest that honour. You must honour and do the word of God (John 15:7-17). The Lord says if you don't have respect for His words you don't have any business declaring it. " But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee." (Psalm 50:16-17) Now the commandment of the Lord to us is to love our neighbours as he has loved us (John 15:12). TEXT: Psalm 100 Today, we are exploring another very potent way of voicing God's word. It is praise The power of God is invested in the word of God. But that power is released when voice is given to the Word. When God speaks His word, it comes with power to do His bindings (Isaiah 55:8-11). It is also given to God's children who are made in the image and likeness of God to speak God's word for the purpose of releasing the power encoded therein. Now when we so voice God's word, we are exercising faith for the Spirit of faith is manifested by our speaking based on our believing in the words of God (2Cor 4:13). FRIENDSHIP AND RELATIONSHIP TEXT: Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. MESSAGE Today the Lord highlights the issue of friendship and relationship. Every relationship comes with a responsibility. Many times, the responsibility to a relationship is conformity. This is why we must be very careful the type of relationships we enter into. We must understand the cost of every relationship and make good ones. MESSAGE Today, once again, the Lord has lent His voice to our need for commitment. Commitment refers to a state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a course of action. It is a state of sincerity and focused purpose. There are some things that we can call the ONE THING NEEDFUL. They operate as the key to our desired end. THE VOICE OF GIVING TEXT: Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:10-12 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Many of us have been praying to God for financial prosperity but wonder why we don't get it. Maybe we are expecting God to mint some cash in heaven and send to us here on earth. It doesn't work that way. We are already blessed financially, but through out the scriptures, you will discover that God manifest the financial blessings by commanding men to bless his people. TEXT: Matt11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. Doing exploits is a product of God's wisdom. It is part of our DNA (Divine Nature Attributes). We simply radiates wisdom as a matter of course. God's wisdom is our heritage and when we engage it, exploits is the natural corollary. These are the last times and the enemy is really corrupting many with flattery. He's making them think they are very wise and self sufficient. He flatters them with riches and tell them money can replace God. He highlight the talents of some people who have covenanted themselves to him and make people celebrate them so that they think they are idols. Some of them sing rubbish and the whole world wants to buy it. Corrupt politicians are exalted to power, institutionalize corruption and the people praise and deify them. People celebrate them that make money by questionable means. God's answer to that is to make you outstanding. Doing exploits means to do heroic and extraordinary deeds.
