MESSAGE Today, I want to show you from God's word, the secret of overcoming the spirit of fear and for that matter, every form of fear. The only answer to all fear is receiving the love of God. If you walk in the perfect love of God, it will rid you of all fears. To walk in the perfect love of God, you must receive his love into your heart and reciprocate His love through your thoughts, words and actions. I'd explain. MESSAGE Before God says to you, "fear not", he had to do something about your fear. It would amount to foolhardy to 'fear not' when the object of your fear is still so real and daunting. God tells us that the power the devil had over man was the power of death and that by which he uses it to subject man to his bondage was THE FEAR OF DEATH. TEXT Rom 1:3-4 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness..." MESSAGE Until yesterday we have learnt that for us to manifest, the revelation of our divine sonship must first come to us. But for it to be manifested to the world, the revelation we've got must transcend into illumination thus causing in us an effulgence of divine radiance that destroys the works of the devil in all our scope of operations. Now, for the revelation of our sonship to be transformed into illumination, it must pass through the fires of trials. Jesus hints us that revelation attracts trials as a matter of course (Matt. 13:21). Our template is the Lord Jesus and so we'd once again observe Him to understand this process. The first of the two times that God audibly declared Jesus as His son, He directed the statement to Jesus himself. He said, "Thou art my beloved Son..." (Luke 3:22) . The first person God wants to manifest His son to is the Son himself. Each christian can either trace his ancestry to God or to his earthly parents. That which you are conscious of will take precedence and determine your experiences and scope of operation. If you live your life being conscious of your earthy ancestry, circumstances and personality, you can't amount to much ...

MESSAGE We have discovered that the agent of the desired change is the son of God. But until he manifests nothing happens. Firstly, take notice that it is your divine sonship that matters here. Everyone has a human and natural descent; but that actually ammoumts to nothing as far as effecting the desired change is concerned. Jesus was said to be the son of David according to the flesh. But that's just about all that there is to it. It was the manifestation of His divine Sonship that resulted in the lightening up of the world and changing it to the glory of God. The Christian who is dying of a terminal disease believes strongly in the power of God to heal him instantly. The one that's suffering under the burden of lack and poverty believes that it doesn't take God a snap of the finger to turn around his fortune. The issue actually is that while most of us believe in the power of God, we don't believe in his willingness to use that power for us or in our case.
