For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. MESSAGE Many of us have been praying to God for financial prosperity but wonder why we don't get it. Now this is basic: We are already blessed financially. But through out the scriptures, you will discover that God manifest the financial blessings by commanding men to bless his people. Solomon experienced financial blessing because God stirred people to give to him. Even Jesus had his needs met because there were some people that ministered to him, attending to his material needs (matt. 27:55). The scriptures says: " God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in allthings, may abound to every good work:" (2Cor 9:8). The only way you can cooperate with God's vision is to run with it. Visions don't execute themselves, you must run with your vision. MESSAGE Yesterday, we learnt that vision is a very important prerequisite for focus, motivation, discipline and eventual success. We were also admonished to receive our vision from the Lord God who alone has the right and ability to direct our lives. Beloved, are you a leader, pastor, parent, etc? What do you think gives you the right to direct or control another man's life. You can only lead to he extent to which you are led by God. Any time you try to lead or control another person beyond or outside the sphere of the control of the spirit, you're likely practicing witchcraft or at the least lording it over God's heritage and God would have non of that (1Pet 5:3). TEXT: Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. MESSAGE Vision generally refers to the ideal or goal towards which one aspires. A clear vision gives focus and produces motivation which ensures effectiveness and efficiency. If you are a leader, one very good way to gain influence and motivate your followers is to communicate a clear vision. Vision helps a man to work smart and not just working hard, dissipating energy on irrelevant things. When a man does not have vision everywhere looks like his destination. He does anything and everything and at the end of the day he finds that he was simply busy for nothing. Vision gives us discipline. Our text says that where there is no vision the people perish. TEXT: Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick THE MESSAGE The Children of Israel knew that God is their healer. They looked unto Him for their healing and their deliverance. And whenever God was to deliver them and to heal them, He sent His word, most times through the mouth of a prophet. When He did this, they are healed and delivered from their destruction no matter the cause and the gravity of the trouble. One more thing, they know that God has His time to show up. When they seek God in that time, God will definitely show up to heal and deliver them. That is why they admonish themselves to seek the Lord in the time when He may be found (Isaiah 55:6). TEXT 2Cor 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. MESSAGE Yesterday we discovered that God supplies us with grace (divine influence, ability and presence) to enable us stay True to our commitment. However, you must engage and leverage on this supernatural ability and make the best of it. You must be a doer! Engage the grace in your daily activities. Let the consciousness of it cause you to take initiative and be your propelling force. You'd be surprise at why you'd come up with. If you don't do so, you'd be frustrating the grace of God and that is extremely wasteful and unfair. You must, stop evaluating situations based on your natural abilities. TEXT: Psalms 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ea r to hear. MESSAGE: Yesterday, we found out that it is up to us to make up our minds and determine to live a life of integrity and holiness. Today, I want you to know that when you purpose in your heart to live by the word of God and you actually set out to do so, God supplies the strength and enabling environment. This is grace at work--grace for integrity. Did you notice what our text for today says? It explains to us that when you have humbled yourself by resolving to live by God's word, God who hears the thoughts of your heart takes notice of such noble desire. But Jesus teaches us what to do with desires. He expects us to pray with them (Mark 11:24). Well, that's not a problem once you become a christian. Once the life of God comes into you, your physical ancestry, background and antecedents don't matter anymore. What matters is leveraging on the eternal life that is in you (Gal 6:15). There's an inner strength made available in your spirit by the eternal life that now resides there.
