Once you receive the Word of God with meekness, He begins to work on your mind and take charge of your mind--thought and conscience --till they function like Christ's. Soon you'd be able to discern what the will of God is in every issue of life. Remember that some few days ago, we explained that everyone has his mind subject to some force referred to as "the spirit of your mind". For the children of disobedience (the unregenerated people) it is the spirit of the Prince of the Power of the Air. Apart from being in charge of their spirit, he was also in charge of their minds, making them to think, talk and walk as they do (Eph 2:2). TEXT: Romans 1:3-4 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead MESSAGE The the manifestation of the son of God is by a divine declaration which is marked with power. Our template is the Lord Jesus and so we'd once again observe Him to understand this process. The first of the two times that God audibly declared Jesus as His son, He directed the statement to Jesus himself. He said, "Thou art my beloved Son..." (Luke 3:22) . The first person God wants to manifest His son to is the Son himself. Each christian can either trace his ancestry to God or to his earthly parents. That which you are conscious of will take precedence and determine your experiences and scope of operation. TEXT:  John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. MESSAGE : Since the last two devotionals, there have been various questions. But the majority of the questions centre on how exactly one can acquire the knowledge of God since reading, or studying about him doesn't necessarily result in knowing God Jesus says that knowing God is eternal life. MESSAGE When I was younger, I sang and prayed "I want to live eternal life God save my soul". I prayed, oh how I prayed. I prayed fervently with strong crying and tears. Of course, I thought eternal life is the life that we'd be given when we resurrect or rapture to meet with Christ. Then and only then, I thought, one could have eternal life. Evidently, my challenge was that I didn't know what eternal life (or everlasting life) means. Eternal life is not simply a life without end or an undying life. Eternal life is the life of God.
