TEXT: Heb 2:15-15 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. MESSAGE Before God says to you, "fear not", he had to do something about your fear. It would amount to foolhardy to 'fear not' when the object of your fear is still so real and daunting. God tells us that the power the devil had over man was the power of death and that by which he uses it to subject man to his bondage was THE FEAR OF DEATH. Thus Jesus addressed this issue once and for all. He did not only defeat Satan, God says he destroyed him and rid him of his power! WHAT DO YOU SEE TEXT: Exodus 13:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever MESSAGE Moses did not say stand still and you WILL see the salvation of the Lord. Rather He said "stand still and see..." What he was saying was that they should relax and consider, contemplate, visualize and fix their attention on the salvation that God has for them and not the condition thy found themselves. Whatever has your attention in the time of crisis, whatever you focus your mind on will determine your outcome. Abraham had a very nagging challenge. His wife was barren. God promised him to make him the father of nations yet he could not father a boy for another 25 years.
