TEXT: Zech. 4:6 ...Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. MESSAGE It's a new year and a new season. This year is going to see a manifestation of the spirit and the power of God. Great territories lie ahead of us to be taken; great heights are to be scaled; great tasks to be accomplished and great records to break. Did you record breakthroughs last year, you haven't seen anything yet, more are on the way. Did you live below your expectations last year? Cheer up you have a brand new opportunity of exceeding your expectations. TEXT Judges 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? MESSAGE The might that Gideon was instructed to go in is the presence of the Lord. This presence of God is manifested by the Holy Spirit. Once Gideon acknowledged the presence of God in His life, the Spirit of God came upon him (Judges 6:34)  When Jesus was to leave the earth, He says to His disciples that He will send us the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth. Now, that Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus. That is why He says that at that time He was speaking with the disciples, the Spirit was with them. But by the time He has been glorified, He will send the Spirit to dwell in all His saints. Thus, " The Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" (2Cor. 3:17).
