Beyond the fellowship with the Word of God is fellowship with the Spirit of Christ. The first thing about fellowship the Spirit of Christ is the consciousness of His presence. You need to first and foremost be conscious of the Presence of the Holy Spirit with and in you for you to be able to fellowship with Him. Sure, this is very difficult for some people whose lives are ruled by feelings and what they experience through their five physical senses. You should not be like that. Your life should be ruled by the Word of God. That is the exact reason why we started with understanding and submitting to the Lordship of the Word of God. Thus, no matter what you see, feel, hear or experience in any way, let the Word of God be the only thing that matters to you. Whatever negates the Word of God is not worthy of your consideration. TEXT: Romans 1:3-4 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead MESSAGE The the manifestation of the son of God is by a divine declaration which is marked with power. Our template is the Lord Jesus and so we'd once again observe Him to understand this process. MESSAGE When I was younger, I sang and prayed "I want to live eternal life God save my soul". I prayed, oh how I prayed. I prayed fervently with strong crying and tears. Of course, I thought eternal life is the life that we'd be given when we resurrect or rapture to meet with Christ. Then and only then, I thought, one could have eternal life. Evidently, my challenge was that I didn't know what eternal life (or everlasting life) means. Eternal life is not simply a life without end or an undying life. Eternal life is the life of God.
