The farmer contends with the earth for food. the athlete contends with others for a crown. the soldier contends with enemies for life and victory. Such is man's life on earth.  When you give your life to Jesus, the contest is not taken away, rather, you only changed sides. You changed from the wicked and lossing side to the Loving and victoriouse side. In every battle, every soldier knows the power of the right location. Choosing the right place to stand may be the first and major determinant of victory. Ground matters for buildings; it does for plant as well as for winning a battle. The best ground on which you can stand to win the battle of life; grow, and build is the ground of love. ...

TEXT: Luke 1:34-35 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. MESSAGE Did you notice the word employed by the angel in describing the product of the divine activity of the Holy Spirit on Mary? He says, " therefore also that the holy thing (not holy child ) which shall be born of thee..." Why would he use such words? It is because he's not only giving information about the birth of Jesus, but also passing across an eternal truth and divine principle. The Spirit of truth gives us a clearer picture as revelation progresses. In 1John 5:4 we are taught that " whatsoever ( not whosoever) is born of God overcometh the world "_. Thus God wants you to know that it is not only the child that is born of God that...

Now, do you now exactly why God gave you a mission impossible in the first place? Why would he call you into something that only He could have fulfilled? You think he's not aware of your limited capabilities and resources? Of course he does! God gives us the answer in the words of Angel Gabriel. How could a virgin give birth to a child without having any form of sexual relationship? But such was the message that this young girl--who was likely not up to 25 years old--received. MESSAGE Friends just imagine that you know the future and you are able to determine what will happen in the next 10yeas. Definitely your choices might have been different. You might have not made some mistakes and you might not have hesitated in some decisions. But the truth is that we do not have an acquaintance with tomorrow. Thus we make some foolish choices and do some things we later regret and cry "had i known..." This shows that our undoing was the lack of the knowledge of some factors that were not manifest to us then being in the future. Wisdom is seen in the outcome of our decisions. TEXT: Eph 5:14 Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” MESAGE There are times when you feel down. Sometimes it is even difficult to pray. It may be that you have backslidden in your devotion to God. You might have become complacent in prayer, bible study, evangelism, e.t.c. You might have tried in vain to recover fellowship. You don't have to remain that way. You can recover even now! You can be revived even now. You only need to know that there is an ability in you to recover from the grip of the devil. No matter the storm we experience in life, no matter how great and no matter the cause, Jesus the Storm Rider, is with us always to comfort and help us. Jesus had just gone up the mountain to avoid being derailed from his mission into becoming a physical and political king. But he stayed there for a bit too  long--longer than the disciples expected. The disciples were not as bad as the Israelites at Sinai. They did not make any golden calf. They did not sin against the Lord. TEXT: Phil 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. MESSAGE Many people misapply this scripture. They are at loss whether the work of salvation done by Jesus was complete or not. You see, Man is a spirit. The devil targeted this spirit and disconnected him from, the source of his life through sin. That's what God calls death. God warned Adam against it. he said, ''for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.'' (Gen. 3:17) and Adam died just as God warned. The effect was that Adam could no longer stand, he presence of God. He fled and ran from the sound of His coming (Gen. 3:8-10) Jesus gave His divine life to reconnect us so that as many as believe in Jesus may be reconnected to this Eternal Life and have Him for himself (John 3:16). MESSAGE Beloved, let me introduce you to one awesome personality. He's the strongest being in the universe and all realms.  He's called THE WORD OF GOD. The word of God carries the power of God. In John 1:1-3 we learn that He's God and all things were made by Him. In Heb. 1:3, we are told that the word of God is that by which He sustains all things. The word of God is the captain of the host of heaven. All the angels in heaven are under His command.
