TEXT: Hebrews 13:15 B y him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of  our  lips giving thanks to his name. MESSAGE One of thr fruits that righteousness produces in us is the fruit of our lips. In our text, the Holy Spirit through the writer of Hebrews (and I strongly believe it to be Paul) explains that thanksgiving is that fruit of our lips. It is the fruit or product of righteousness that manifests on our lips as the evidence of the state and content of our heart.  Praise is a mode of worship. The praise or worship that God delights in is the praise that is offered in spirit and in truth. Jesus says:  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. TEXT JOHN 15:16   Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and  that  your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. MESSAGE Since God created man He has always longed for our fruitfulness. That's why he blessed man to be fruitful. In fact, " Behold, the husbandman [God] waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain ." (James 5:7). The enemy has tried to stop this all the while. he mutated man to the point that he does not have the capacity to generate such fruit. Jesus knew that you cannot teach man to produce the fruits God is talking about. Man needed a change of nature to do so. TEXT: Phil 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God MESSAGE: Righteousness is the first thing that God gives to us at the new birth. It is the foundation of all things in the kingdom of God. But God does not expect us to stop there. Righteousness gives us access to the treasury of God. All His heritage, wisdom, power, and resources in the vast expanse of eternity become available to us when we become righteous. That is why Jesus say: " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. " (Matthew 6:33) Having been translated into the kingdom of God (Col 1:12-13) and haven been given the gift of righteousness, we are expected to manifest the results of righteousness. Those things that righteousness produce through and in us are called the fruit of righteousness. One of such fruits of righteousness is answer to prayers. James 5:16 says, ...

MESSAGE: When we call upon the name of the Lord, we are saved. We receive instant gift of Righteousness. Righteousness is not holiness but it puts upon you the ability and responsibility to be holy. Righteousness is a state of being that God translate you into when you become a Christian. It is a garment that God gives to any one who believes in Jesus and confesses Him as Lord. It is not a function of what you did or did not do. It is not a function of your effort. It is given to you as a gift. Holiness on the other hand is obedience to God. whatever you do or abstain from doing in obedience to the Word and will of God is a manifestation of holiness. MESSAGE There are times that you as a christian will fall into tribulations. Men will persecute you because of your faith in Jesus. You may lose your job because you refused to cooperate with your superiors in cooking records or because you refused to sleep with your boss. The Lord says to rejoice all the same. It is easy to nod in agreement, but when you are actually passing through adversity you will know it is not easy to smile when all hell seem to be let loose on you. But something can help you: Perspective! If you can focus on the right perspectively you will be able to smile at the storm. TEXT Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. MESSAGE How can we rejoice always? What about the times of pain and adversities? Rejoicing in the Lord is rejoicing in the revelation of the truth of God's Word. When the word of God enters your Spirit, no matter the situation you are facing, you will rejoice because the entrance of God's word will bring faith and rejoicing is a proof or manifeatation of your faith. Jesus says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when  ye pray,  believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24). Prayer makes the truth of God's word real to you. As you pray based on a provision of the scripture, declaring it to yourself and glorifying God for it, your heart will become aware of the truth then you can believe. Like I've always maintained, death and its agents are judgement passed on man by reason of sin. So the forces of the enemy stand on the judgement to afflict man. But when you give your life to Jesus, you have a life that is beyond condemnation. Firstly because Christ has born your judgement and you cannot be judged twice for the same charge. Righteousness is not an activity. It is a state of being. Just as men are called human beings, so the righteous is a righteous being, not just a human being. He carries the nature of God and as such functions as God according to the degree of his knowledge of God and who God has made him That is why the righteous don't just die. The righteous who knows his God can only lay down his life maybe due to persecution. MESSAGE One of the original purposes for creating man is for him to rule the earth and for that matter the physical universe. Thus, upon creation of man, God gave him the dominion mandate. He said let them have dominion (Gen 1:26). For man to have dominion God blessed him with the grace to be fruitful and multiply or expand (Gen 1:28). MESSAGE When Moses needed to divide the red sea, all that God did was to teach him how to use the all purpose weapon that God has given to him.
