THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS PART2
TEXT JOHN 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
MESSAGE
Since God created man He has always longed for our fruitfulness. That's why he blessed man to be fruitful. In fact, "Behold, the husbandman [God] waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain." (James 5:7). The enemy has tried to stop this all the while. he mutated man to the point that he does not have the capacity to generate such fruit.
Jesus knew that you cannot teach man to produce the fruits God is talking about. Man needed a change of nature to do so. Thus He says:
"Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?" (Matt 12:33-34)
Now that we have become born again and received the nature of righteousness as a gift, Jesus wants us to live with and manifest proofs or evidence of our new nature. Jesus wants God and men to see the evidence of what He has done in your life because that will bring glory and satisfaction to God.
A fruit is the best evidence or proof of the nature of a plant. A mango tree produces mango and not oranges. Thus Jesus wants us to produce fruits. One other type of fruit that we are expected by our nature as righteous beings to bear is the fruit of our lips which is thanksgiving. Do not deny God of it. Start yielding this beautiful fruit. Yes u can, despite the circumstances. Its in u!
PRAYERS
Thank you Father for creating in me the ability to bear fruits to your glory.
I'm yielding fruits in the name of Jesus. I cannot be barren. I am a living proof if the grace and righteousness of God in Christ Jesus
