MESSAGE Life is like a court room.  Satan is the accuser (Rev. 12:10). By your negative circumstances, the devil is showing you your charge sheet. Your challenges are his evidence. The doctor's report; your depleting bank statement of account; etc is his documentary evidence. You nightmares, omens and demonic activities are the oral testimonies of his hired demonic witnesses. All these are to convince you that you are under his dominion and that the cross achieved nothing for you! Of course Satan knows that you are delivered from his authority (Col 1:12&13). Contrary to what some people believe, no Christian that has received eternal life by believing in the resurrection of Jesus and by confessing His Lordship will ever be judged, let alone condemned. Repent from the works of death Text; Heb 6:1, Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God MESSAGE As God's children, we are required required to grow up unto the perfection of moral soundness and maturity. We are called and accepted by God just as we are  but we are not to remain the way we are. We must grow up in character and in learning. As is usual with God, if he required something of us, he tells us how to achieve it. Now God is showing us that the way to perfection is to jettison dead works. So what are dead works? Dead works simply put, are works that have no life in them. You see, the Word of God is life (John 1:1-5, 6:63). Therefore, whatever you do that is not motivated or inspired by the Spirit and Word of God is a dead work. TEXT : 1Cor 3:21-22  21  Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;  22  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; MESSAGE Once you're born again, you're an object of God's grace and mercy and for that God has put all of His resources at our disposal. Therefore He says, " all things are yours"  (1Cor 3:21-22). That sure blows my mind. All thing! And as if to say, “for the avoidance of doubt”, he added,  “ All things…whether life, or death, or things present or things to come ”. He says all are yours. The reason is because when you receive the grace and righteousness of God, you become a son of God and as such you become a heir of His possessions and for that matter, joint heir with Jesus. TEXT: Psalms 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.  MESSAGE : I'd tell you the only reason why you are weighed down. All the while you have been looking down. That's why you were weighed down. You were looking at yourself. You kept considering yourself. The one that failed in his commitment to God kept saying "how could I?" You think it is godly sorrow. But godly sorrow should only lead to repentance and once you have repented, any other sorrow thereafter is not godly but deadly (2Cor 7:10). It is the idolization of the self which in itself is a sin! He who thinks he has gone through a lot cries "why me?" He is weighed down because he thinks he's alone in his trial. MESSAGE Our theme scriptures shows us that if we want to fulfil divine mandate, it is not enough to be in God's house; we must purge ourselves. No wonder, the scriptures says, " Remove impurities from the silver and the silversmith can craft a fine chalice" (Prov 25:4 MSG). What God intends for us to purify here is our character (See Rom 5:4 NIV). This keeps us alert for whatever God will do next. It is our character that makes us qualified or otherwise for the mandates of God. No matter who you are, before God commits a mandate into your hands, he must test your character. MESSAGE A mandate is an order given to somebody to carry out a certain task or duty. When God created man, it was for him to fulfill mandates. He was Predestinated to fulfill the Dominion mandate. Despite the fact that Satan, through sin, robbed man of this high call, Jesus died to give man a new life and a new mandate. He raised up for himself a people prepared and zealous for all good works. (Titus 2:14). To that extent, we were, in Jesus, predestinated to fulfill divine mandates. The fulfillment of these mandates is what determines if we had a fulfilled destiny or not. Everyone of us must operate within what God has given us. Time is our greatest asset by which we can achieve anything whatsoever in our surjourn on this side of eternity. Our achievement is directly proportional to what we have done with our time. Wisdom is seen in what you do with your time. You can Waste time by putting it to the wrong use; spend it by putting it to immediate use; or redeem it by investing it to secure the future and redeem the past. Now, beyond perceiving the realm of the spirit is the ability to superimpose the realities in the spirit on our physical experience. To achieve this, we must understand and operate by the Spirit of faith. The Spirit of Faith refers to the vital principle or the essence of faith.
