TEXT: Zech. 4:6 ...Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. MESSAGE It's a new year and a new season. This year is going to see a manifestation of the spirit and the power of God. Great territories lie ahead of us to be taken; great heights are to be scaled; great tasks to be accomplished and great records to break. Did you record breakthroughs last year, you haven't seen anything yet, more are on the way. Did you live below your expectations last year? Cheer up you have a brand new opportunity of exceeding your expectations. The new year presents a new horizon: in your job, ministry, family, career, etc. Thus says the "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." God has pledged His Spirit--the one by whom He gets things done. He will accomplish great things for you and through you You may feel that what you need is money or some other resources. TEXT: Deuteronomy 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day . MESSAGE One of the original purposes for creating man is for him to rule the earth and for that matter the physical universe. Thus, upon creation of man, God gave him the dominion mandate. He said let them have dominion (Gen 1:26). For man to have dominion God blessed him with the grace to be fruitful and multiply or expand (Gen 1:28). When man has dominion and he is subject to God, then God is glorified and all things are subject to God through man. So the devil attempts to bring man under himself so that whatever dominion man has on earth, would be subject to the devil. So when man fell for the devil, the devil was rightly describe as the god of the world system. That is why the devil doesn't mind an unbeliever making wealth. TEXT Judges 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? MESSAGE The might that Gideon was instructed to go in is the presence of the Lord. This presence of God is manifested by the Holy Spirit. Once Gideon acknowledged the presence of God in His life, the Spirit of God came upon him (Judges 6:34)  When Jesus was to leave the earth, He says to His disciples that He will send us the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth. Now, that Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus. That is why He says that at that time He was speaking with the disciples, the Spirit was with them. But by the time He has been glorified, He will send the Spirit to dwell in all His saints. Thus, " The Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" (2Cor. 3:17). Thus the scripture says, ''It is vain for you to rise early, come home late, and work so hard for your food. Yes, he can provide for those whom he loves even when they sleep'' (Psalms 127:2 NET) The Lord, by His voice of prosperity can prosper you beyond imagination because of His covenant with Abraham whose heir you are. He can accomplish this in two ways, firstly by giving you power to make wealth. He does this by declaring blessings on you. He utters His voice to bless you.
