THE MIND OF CHRIST 5 TEXT: Prov. 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed MESSAGE Yesterday the word of God revealed to us the life spring or life force of our mind; showing us why we reason and for that matter, act the way we do. This is extremely important because the state of our minds is the door that determines the spiritual prototypes (whether of God or of Satan) that flows into our physical experience (Rom 6:16, 8:5-8). To open up yourself for the will of God therefore, you have to develop the mind of Christ and to do so you have to be transformed in the spirit of your mind. This is how to be spiritually minded as described in Rom 8:5-5. Now, to develop the mind of Christ or become spiritually minded, you need fellowship. You've heard the addage, show me your friends and I'd tell you who you are, right? It is quite true. God's word actually confirms that. It says, " Be not deceived: evil communicat...

TEXT: Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness MESSAGE The mind of Christ is in you beloved (1Cor 2:16). When you got born again, the Spirit of Christ in all His fullness (including his mind and mental faculties) came into you "... for God giveth not His spirit by measure .." (John 3:34). Thus you can reason with the divine frequency and abilities. You don't have to struggle to know the mind of God on any issue. You can perceive the impulse of God's mind and strategize with information available to God. What a glorious life! But, you may ask, why are we still so limited? Now, listen. TEXT Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace MESSAGE Our greatest tool for strategizing and making plans is the mind. Whether you know it or not, the process of planning pulls concepts from the spirit realm into physical manifestation. The mind of man is a psychic gate that demarcates the realm of the spirit from the physical. If you open this gate to the devil through carnal mindedness, you'd have his will manifesting in your physical experience even though you're thoroughly saved and heaven-bound. MESSAGE One of the things Jesus is emphasising in today's text is planning. A plan is a set of intended actions, usually mutually related, through which one expects to achieve a goal. He shows us that Planning accounts for the difference between a success and an abandoned project. Planing involves counting the cost necessary for the actualization of your goal and vision. Jesus makes it clear that an unplanned life is a catastrophe going somewhere to happen. Shame and riddicle is the eventual result of such endeavor. No doubt many of us have goals and resolutions. MESSAGE Whenever you're fortunate to receive a divine instruction on giving, you can be pretty sure that a supernatural move for your Providence is on the way. Many of us know this, but many time, what we do not know is how to receive the divine instruction that can lead to our breakthrough. That is what we would be examining now. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. MESSAGE Many times, when we read the above scripture, we hurry to read our minds into the scripture. Our hearts quickly interpreted it as "Give offerings and God shall bless you by given you 100 fold of what you gave" well, Jesus never said that. He didn't specify who or what to give. Rather Jesus is addressing your attitude. A generous attitude whether to God or men will equally cause a spiritual environment around you that affects men's disposition towards you which makes them to be generous in their dealing with you.
