SPIRIT BASED PLANNING AND STRATGY

TEXT: Luke 14:28 – 30
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

MESSAGE
One of the things Jesus is emphasising in today's text is planning. A plan is a set of intended actions, usually mutually related, through which one expects to achieve a goal. He shows us that Planning accounts for the difference between a success and an abandoned project. Planing involves counting the cost necessary for the actualization of your goal and vision. Jesus makes it clear that an unplanned life is a catastrophe going somewhere to happen. Shame and riddicle is the eventual result of such endeavor.

No doubt many of us have goals and resolutions. There are evidently many things we will like to do or change. It may be our financial situation or our family circumstances or even our commitment to God. As God's children, we have the greatest connection and privilege in the universe. We can do just anything because of the power and influence available to us. It is thus disheartening that many times we experience some very unnecessary failures. Many of such times what we have failed to do is to plan

You're called to finish strong. You're called to be fruitful. But you need to consider this very important thing. One very serious evil bedeviling Christians many times is unimplemented ideas and unfinished projects. There are many God given ideas that have died within us. Also there are many endeavours on which we've embarked that we later backed out. This, for some, may include relationships and even marriages. We started well, believing we were in God's plan only to end up withbroken hearts and divorce. If you looked closely, you may discover that your undoing is lack of spirit based planning. Start lending your heart to this very important thing and you'd see greater success.
