SPIRIT-BASED PLANNING AND STRATEGY 4


TEXT: Ephesians 4:22-24
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness

 MESSAGE
The mind of Christ is in you beloved (1Cor 2:16). When you got born again, the Spirit of Christ in all His fullness (including his mind and mental faculties) came into you "...for God giveth not His spirit by measure.." (John 3:34). Thus you can reason with the divine frequency and abilities. You don't have to struggle to know the mind of God on any issue. You can perceive the impulse of God's mind and strategize with information available to God. What a glorious life! But, you may ask, why are we still so limited? Now, listen.

Unlike your spirits which is regenerated and sealed with the Spirit of Christ when you got born again, your mind was not. God makes it your responsibility to transform it because He'd never breach your will. To transform the mind is to be transformed in the spirit (active agent or operating force) of your mind. That is to say you must change that which is the life spring of your conscious and subconscious mind.

Before now, the spirit of our mind was the spirit of the prince of the power of the air also known as the old man (Eph 2:2-3). He is the mind of Satan and manifests his lust through the mind of man. It is extremely corrupt and capable of any evil imaginable. Given a convenient circumstance, you'd be surprised how deprave it can be.  Yielding to it would open you up to negative spiritual forces and cause the motions of death to manifest in your experience.

However, now that the mind of Christ is present by His Spirit in you, you are admonished to yield your mind to this mind of of Christ. This is done by reading, studying and meditating the Word of God. That is how to get spiritually minded. Let the Word of God become your reality. Make plans, think, talk and walk according to the truth of the Word and not the mirage of your senses. This brings life and peace to you. Be transformed in the Spirit of your mind

LET US PRAY
Thank you Father for giving me the fullness of the Spirit. I am fitted with divine abilities and faculties. I have the mind of Christ Hallelujah

Father, I yield my mind totally to the Spirit of Christ. I'm transformed in the spirit of my mind. Overwhelm me by your Spirit and let Him have total control of my conscious and subconscious mind

Father Let your Spirit take full control of your church and help us to discern your will and usher in the Lordship of your Spirit
