Beyond the fellowship with the Word of God is fellowship with the Spirit of Christ. The first thing about fellowship the Spirit of Christ is the consciousness of His presence. You need to first and foremost be conscious of the Presence of the Holy Spirit with and in you for you to be able to fellowship with Him. Sure, this is very difficult for some people whose lives are ruled by feelings and what they experience through their five physical senses. You should not be like that. Your life should be ruled by the Word of God. That is the exact reason why we started with understanding and submitting to the Lordship of the Word of God. Thus, no matter what you see, feel, hear or experience in any way, let the Word of God be the only thing that matters to you. Whatever negates the Word of God is not worthy of your consideration. Now, Jesus has already assured you in His Word that "...the Father, ...shall give you another Comforter [the Holy Spirit], that he may abide with you FOR E...

Once you receive the Word of God with meekness, He begins to work on your mind and take charge of your mind--thought and conscience --till they function like Christ's. Soon you'd be able to discern what the will of God is in every issue of life. Remember that some few days ago, we explained that everyone has his mind subject to some force referred to as "the spirit of your mind". For the children of disobedience (the unregenerated people) it is the spirit of the Prince of the Power of the Air. Apart from being in charge of their spirit, he was also in charge of their minds, making them to think, talk and walk as they do (Eph 2:2). The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. MESSAGE Fellowship with the word is fellowship with Christ. This is the process of interacting with, handling and doing word. When you fellowship with the word, it transforms your mind and makes you to begin to think, speak and act like Christ. Remember, " He that walketh with wise men shall be wise ..." (Prov 13:20). The Word of God is the wisdom of God. Fellowship with the Word brings you to the same frequency of wisdom as God. Fellowshipping with the word demands the totality of your soul which include your intellect, your will, your conscience and your emotions. THE MIND OF CHRIST 5 TEXT: Prov. 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed MESSAGE Yesterday the word of God revealed to us the life spring or life force of our mind; showing us why we reason and for that matter, act the way we do. This is extremely important because the state of our minds is the door that determines the spiritual prototypes (whether of God or of Satan) that flows into our physical experience (Rom 6:16, 8:5-8). To open up yourself for the will of God therefore, you have to develop the mind of Christ and to do so you have to be transformed in the spirit of your mind. When you got born again, the Spirit of Christ in all His fullness (including his mind and mental faculties) came into you "... for God giveth not His spirit by measure .." (John 3:34). Thus you can reason with the divine frequency and abilities. You don't have to struggle to know the mind of God on any issue. TEXT Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace MESSAGE Our greatest tool for strategizing and making plans is the mind. Whether you know it or not, the process of planning pulls concepts from the spirit realm into physical manifestation. The mind of man is a psychic gate that demarcates the realm of the spirit from the physical. MESSAGE One of the things Jesus is emphasising in today's text is planning. A plan is a set of intended actions, usually mutually related, through which one expects to achieve a goal. He shows us that Planning accounts for the difference between a success and an abandoned project. Planing involves counting the cost necessary for the actualization of your goal and vision. A clear vision gives focus and produces motivation which ensures effectiveness and efficiency. If you are a leader, one very good way to gain influence and motivate your followers is to communicate a clear vision. TEXT 2Cor 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. MESSAGE: Yesterday, we found out that it is up to us to make up our minds and determine to live a life of integrity and holiness. Today, I want you to know that when you purpose in your heart to live by the word of God and you actually set out to do so, God supplies the strength and enabling environment. It explains to us that when you have humbled yourself by resolving to live by God's word, God who hears the thoughts of your heart takes notice of such noble desire.
