VISION 2
TEXT: Pro 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

MESSAGE
Yesterday, we learnt that vision is a very important prerequisite for focus, motivation, discipline and eventual success. We were also admonished to receive our vision from the Lord God who alone has the right and ability to direct our lives. Beloved, are you a leader, pastor, parent, etc? What do you think gives you the right to direct or control another man's life. You can only lead to he extent to which you are led by God. Any time you try to lead or control another person beyond or outside the sphere of the control of the spirit, you're likely practicing witchcraft or at the least lording it over God's heritage and God would have non of that (1Pet 5:3). So now, how do we receive our vision from God for leading our lives and others that God has given unto us?

In the old testament, the people were guided by the law. That is why, after showing us that "where there's no vision the people perish", the scriptures goes on to say, "but he that keepeth the law, happy is he". So the law was their oracle by which they got vision from the Lord. But today God speaks to us through His Word (His Son) and His words are transmitted to us through His spirit. Thus Jesus keeps telling us, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying...." Jesus repeated this at least 7 times in the book of Revelation alone
To be able to hear the Spirit and discern the will of God, the Word of the Lord admonishes thus: "Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect" (Romans 12:2 ISV). So as you let God transform your mind through meditating on His word, you will become spiritually minded and as such, you'd be able to perceive or bring within your cognition the transmissions of the Spirit.
LET US PRAY
FATHER, I pray and desire for myself and your church in general, that you might cause us to be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.
FATHER, I pray and desire for myself and your church in general, that you might cause us to be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Father I pray that you would reveal your will concerning this country to the church that we might take the lead and manifest your will on earth.
