TEXT: Exodus 13:15-16  15  And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:  16  But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. MESSAGE How long have you been crying unto God for a change in your life situations? You have come to what seems like a dead end and have cried to God for what you feel only He can do but He seems not to bother about you. Many times you have almost began to question the love of God because you can't understand why a loving God can watch you cry for help for so long and yet does nothing to help your condition. You have said, why have I cried to God without answers. The truth is that Just like God said to Moses, " Wherefore criest thou unto me? " God is wondering why  you are crying to him in the first place.  You know why? Because ...

TEXT: Exodus 14:5&9 5   And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 9. But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses  and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth , before Baalzephon . MESSAGE: The children of Israel were delivered from bondage but their slave masters would not let them be. They made frantic efforts to bing them back to their slavery. You might have been saved from the world, sin, sickness, bad habits, bad friends, demonic oppression, and other power of the devil. But the devil will not just sit back and accept defeat. He will continue to make efforts to bring you under his dominion. He will send you old friends to try to lure you back to sin. They will blackmail, threaten and laugh at you. That is...

GO IN THIS THY MIGHT (PT2)

Image
TEXT: Judges 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? MESSAGE: What the Lord is saying today is that you should let the might that God has made available to you propel you to recover your inheritance. Let the consciousness of the presence of God put springs in your steps. Let it put faith in your heart and courage in your soul. Say to yourself, "The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me" (Psa 118:6). Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). Engage your adversary with the power God made available to you. What ever task is before you now, engage the might of God and you will come with excellence. Paul says, "... I toil, struggling with all the energy which he inspires and which works powerfully within me." (Col 1:29) Quit resting on your oars. If Gideon had sat down at home, no matter th...

HOW TO WRITE YOUR EPITAPH

TEXT: Proverbs 10:7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. MESSAGE Few years ago, 1997 to be precise, dignitaries including Hillary Clinton, Madame Aline Chrétien, the wife of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien; leaders from East and West; leaders of various religion, Christians, Muslims, Bhudists, Judists, etc, all converged in one place. Their sword of animosity were shealted for a moment and their pomp were silent for a while. It was like the world stood still. At the center of it all, a little woman, Mother Teresa. A woman who lived her life as an epitome of love, touching the untouchables, giving hope to the hopeless. When her health began to deteriorate, Doctors told her she should "slow down." Her reply: "I have all eternity to rest, and there is still much to do ... Life is not worth living unless it is lived for others." No wonder in her death, the world stood still for such a life lived in love. The former U.N. Secretary-Gen...

TEXT: Isaiah 41:8-13 8  But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. 9  Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12  Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13  For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Its the beginning of another new year. Glo...

I WILL HELP YOU

Image
Hi friends have you ever read these words: "I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" (Rom 7:22-24) Now, that was Paul the mighty Apostle. His reference was to his struggle before he met Christ. He was a scholar and a strict disciplinarian. but he owned up to d paradox of life fully evident in his life. in fact he stated his greatest conflict--the conflict of laws working in him. Much as he wanted to obey the laws or God with his heart, another law was in his members making him a slave to the Law of sin. Oh How much this sincere Paul looks like most of us today. we face a lot of conflicts going on within us.  Your sincere heart must have wondered how can you be wholly free from sin, sickness and poverty. Our experiences seem to fight our beliefs...
