FEAR NOT 6: THE END OF ALL FEARS




TEXT 1John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

MESSAGE
Today, I want to show you from God's word, the secret of overcoming the spirit of fear and for that matter, every form of fear. The only answer to all fear is receiving the love of God. If you walk in the perfect love of God, it will rid you of all fears. To walk in the perfect love of God, you must receive his love into your heart and reciprocate His love through your thoughts, words and actions. I'd explain.

The perfect love of God is expressed in Jesus: for God so love the World that He gave us His Son Jesus, and while we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us (John 3:16; Romans 5:8). The love is transmitted to us through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the good news of how, by reason of God's unqualified love, Jesus paid the price for our sins and their consequences with His life (He died the most shameful and cruel death to save all humanity from destruction): and how that He ressurected again by the power of God. This is so that as many as believe in him should not perish but have  eternal life and be qualified to participate in the nature, virtue, glory and wealth of God.

To receive the love of God, all you need to do is to believe the gospel with all your heart. To walk in His love, all you need to do is to confess (and profess) that Jesus is Lord according to the testimony of God who has made Him both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:35, 38-39, Rom 10:9-12). This means that you decide that your thoughts words and actions shall be based on the word of Jesus, your feelings and desires notwithstanding. Then declare it to the hearing of heaven earth and even hell, that Jesus is your Lord!

As you do so every day that is called today, the spirit of God will take over you. You'd be able to fulfil your commitment to God, not by your strength or willpower, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Fear would not find any space in your life and you'd live the God kind of life, manifesting his virtue and glory from one degree to another without any formnof diminishing return. You'd live as God on earth Hallelujah!

LET US PRAY
Thank you my dear heavenly Father for your love for me.

I believe your Gospel Father. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and resurrected for my justification according to the gospel

Father, I confess that Jesus is Lord and that he's lord over my life, my thought, talk and walk.

I receive the fullness of the Spirit of Christ and I walk in His love today and forever by the uction and teaching of the spirit

I live the divine life and participate in the divinity and inheritance of Christ.

I refuse to entertain any form of fear for the Spirit of God is shed the love of God in my heart and I walk in love

Father I pray for your church that you would cause the gospel of Christ to be clear to us and cause us to walk in your love

Father I pray for this nation that the veil of darkness would be removed from us and we would see the glory of Christ in His gospel.
