THE VOICE OF GIVING
TEXT: Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:10-12
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Many of us have been praying to God for financial prosperity but wonder why we don't get it. Maybe we are expecting God to mint some cash in heaven and send to us here on earth. It doesn't work that way. We are already blessed financially, but through out the scriptures, you will discover that God manifest the financial blessings by commanding men to bless his people. Solomon experienced financial blessing because God stored people to give to him. Even Jesus had his needs met because there were some people that ministered to him, attending to his material needs (matt. 27:55).

The scriptures says: " For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."(2Cor 8:9). No matter your physical condition now, God's word is true. You are blessed than you can ever imagine.

Now, that's the word of God. You can hear that and remain a pauper all your life. But if you want the word to change your condition, you have to DO the word (James 1:22-25). God says that if you want the blessing of God to manifest by causing men to give to you, you must give. The scriptures says it is the same measure you give that you shall receive. God is not about going to bend his law because of anyone. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Gal 6:7) In fact, this principle is insured on the existence of the earth. "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" (Genesis 8:22).

A special mode of giving is your tithe. when you offer your tithe to God, you declare that God is your source and the owner of whatever is your source of income. You declare that He is your overlord and as such he is duty bound to defend His land which is your source of income from devourers and also make sure that it produces for you to its full capacity. When you give tithe with this understanding in faith, you are offering tithe to Jesus the High Priest after the order of Melchizedech and not the one after the Levitical Order. You will be following the example faith of Abraham our father in the faith (Hebrews 7)

PRAYER
Father I thank you for giving me the avenue of receiving financial prosperity

I repent of all my disobedience and ask you to forgive me in Jesus Name

Father, i key into your word today. On the basis of you word I begin to give, let men give to my bosom good measure, pressed down and shaken together in the Name of Jesus

Father open the eyes of your church to the understanding of the principle of giving and receiving in Jesus Name

Father prosper your church beyond measure in Jesus Name
