THE MANUAL FOR ETERNAL LIFE


TEXT: 2Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

MESSAGE
Most people today, especially in this part of the world, buy appliances and never bother to go through the manual. The result is that they either soon damage the appliance or grossly under utilize it. Someone once bought a very expensive android tablet and all he could do with it was to make and receive calls. he ran everywhere to send e-mails. He spent hours at business centres trying to get his documents typed. Many other things he suffered because he never knew that his tablet could be used to solve all of those issues.

In much the same way, when we receive eternal life into our spirits, it will be foolish of us to just assume that we know what to do with it. Just as the wisest thing anybody that bought an applicance would do is to check for the manufacturer's instruction in the manual, so also it is very important that we acquint ourselves with the "manual" for this eternal life we have been given. The Word of God is the God-given manual for the eternal life we have received from Him. The Word of God is securely treasured up in the Scriptures known to many as the Bible. It is authored by God through men who are inspired to write under the influence of God's Spirit (2Pet 1:20-21).

The Word of God shows you everything you need to know about the life of Christ in you and how you can live it to the fullest. The Word of God will show you whom you are in Christ, what you have in Christ, how to live the life of Christ and how to appropriate what God has graciously given you in Christ. So as you keep on studying it, you'd be increasing in the Knowledge of the life of God in you. With that knowledge you'd be able to manifest the divine life to the extent of the knowledge you receive (2Pet 1:3&4). This is your life beloved, receive the Word of God into your spirit. No time is ever too much to be dedicated unto studying God's Word. It is wisdom to start your day with God's word; it is prudence to take it wherever you God. It is essential to ruminate on it through out the day. A great understanding have they that ends the day with the Word of God.

PRAYERS
Thank God for Giving you eternal life

Thank God for giving you His word which shows you how to live eternal life to the fullest.

Thank God that you will need help in darkness again

Ask God to teach you His Word by His Spirit who is the author of the Word

Ask God to turn the  attention of His children to His Word so that we can live as we aught
