ENGAGING THE GREATEST CONQUEROR FOR YOUR BATTLES
Text Rev. 19:12-14
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Beloved, let me introduce you to one awesome personality. He's the strongest being in the universe and all realms. He's called THE WORD OF GOD. The word of God carries the power of God. In John 1:1-3 we learn that He's God and all things were made by Him. In Heb. 1:3, we are told that the word of God is that by which He sustains all things. The word of God is the captain of the host of heaven. All the angels in heaven are under His command. In Psalms 103:20 we see that the angels who excel in might hearken to the Voice of the Word of God.
Can you see that the Word of God is all powerful? Nothing can resist him successfully. No power can withstand him. Now the good news is that this word of God is at your service. He's eager to help you. Are you bound by sickness, death, poverty, sin, habits, e.t.s? The word can save you. In Psalms 107:17-20 we saw that when the children of Israel walked into trouble by breaking the covenant with God, resulting in their bondages and sickness, the only messenger that God sent was the Word and He did a perfect job. He delivered them from all their destruction. The same word is at your service. If you will only believe, you shall see the salvation of God. Rom 1:16 says [The Word of God] is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek (BBE).
Someone may be saying, how do I get the word of God to work for me? The scriptures says
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Rom 10:8-11)
Believing and confessing the word is the way you can engage His services. If you are still under the dominion if Satan, you need to believed that Jesus died for you and was raised from the dead by God. You also need to confess that He's your Lord and you shall be saved. If you are a Christian and you still experience any opposition no matter the type of battle, situation or challenge, believe the word of God concerning that situation. Confess it, and you will have what you say. Are you sick for example, believe that by the stripes of Jesus you were healed (1Pet 2:24). Keep on saying it and that devil will flee from you.
