HOW SHALL THESE THINGS BE?


TEXT: Luke 1:34-35
34  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

 35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible says, a young virgin who has never known a man received a strange visitor who turned out to be an Angel who came to tell her strange and impossible things. How could a virgin give birth to a child without having any form of sexual relationship? But such was the message that this young girl--who was likely not up to 25 years old--received. It was evidently and impossible arrangement.

But the angel explained a process. He said, " The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee". When the Holy Ghost comes upon you, every impossibility becomes possible. I don't know what looks so impossible for you today. Have you been given a vision, mission, idea, assignment or ministry and you are asking, "how can these thing be?" Some of us have become aware that we are to be lights in our very corrupt environment, compounds, places of work and even our homes. We have also noticed that if our country must change for good, the children of God must arise. But when you seethe level of darkness and corruption around you,  you are tempted to say "how shall these things be?" Hear yea God's arrangement! " The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: That God-size project; that vision that you have for the next year that seem totally impossible; business proposal that seem too big to be real, the Power of the Highest will bring it to past

The Angel said "...Therefore, that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God". The reason why God gave you that impossible assignment is to make sure that when you finally come out with the result, it will bear the signature of God. It will be clear that the Lord has done this. No matter how great is your vision or assignment, relax. Let the Holy Spirit overshadow you and you are coming out with a result that will bring glory to God. When the power of the Holy Highest helps you to give birth to your destiny, assignment, vision, etc, such product would have been born of God. And you know one thing about whatever is born of God? It "overcomes the world" (1John 5:4). By the time the Holy Spirit has helped you to deliver your vision, no force on earth can sink it. Nothing can overcome it. Because it is born of God HALLELUJAH!

PRAYER
Thank God because the Power of the Holy Spirit is available to help your fulfil your vision, mission and destiny

Repent of trying to do it yourself

Ask God to overshadow you with the Power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the assignment and vision He has given you

Ask God to overshadow the Church with His power to carry out His mandate on earth

Pray for the Nation that the Power of the Holy Spirit will overshadow it and solve all our impossible problems

Pray for me too that the power of the Highest will help me fulfill my purpose on earth.
