WHY WE PREACH THE GOSPEL OF GRACE


TEXT: Ephesians 3:19
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

 MESSAGE
The Gospel of Grace is the Good News of God's unconditional love for man which he expresses in giving us Jesus His only begotten Jesus so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but  have the same life that God has--everlasting life (John 3:16). It is the news of God unusual love by which he offers His best, His life packaged in Jesus to condemned criminals like us who deserve nothing but death and destruction.

Now that you are in Christ Jesus, the Gospel of Grace tells you that the unconditional love of God does not end after conversion, neither does it become qualified or conditional. Rather it remains with you. "[If] While we were still God’s enemies, God’s Son died. He died so that we could become God’s friends. So, even more certainly, now that we are God’s friends, his Son will save us. Christ will save us because he is alive" (Rom. 5:10 Easy English Version). " He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also FREELY [unconditionally] give us all things [His power, Holy Spirit, love, forgiveness, providence, e.t.c]?" (Rom 8:32 emphasis mine).

God wants you to be conscious of this love of his towards you. The consciousness of the love of God and the accurate knowledge of same is what fills you with the fullness of God and your life will be an effortless outpouring and manifestation of the fullness of God--His precept, power, character and glory. This is how to walk in power and Holiness without stress. The devil is not a match for someone who is filled with the fullness of God. He cowers at their approach and flees at their presence.  Beloved I write this to you that you may know that God loves you unconditionally. This is the reason why we preach and teach the Gospel of Grace.

PRAYER
Thank God for His unconditional love towards you

Ask Him to open your eyes to see the greatness of this love and broaden your mind to understand it

Ask for grace to walk in the consciousness of His love

Pray that the church of Christ might progressively understand and appreciate the message of Grace in all accuracy
